Bio
Rachel is a recent graduate from the University of Texas at Austin, where she worked in a molecular biology lab to analyze tRNA fragment expression in HEK293 cells and differential gene expression in COVID-19 vs healthy patient plasma. Her primary interests lie in studying host-pathogen interactions and infectious disease modeling. As an incoming graduate student at Scripps Research, her rotation work in the Su lab will include incorporating molecular assay data into outbreak.info.
